My full Story

I started my career the responsible way—earning a degree in Industrial Engineering + Entrepreneurship from a top 5 school in LATAM, where I quickly learned that common sense wasn’t enough to pass exams (yes, I actually had to study).

From there, I suited up and spent three years in insurance, mastering the art of professional emails, looking busy in Zoom calls, and pretending to enjoy wearing a tie. But the suit life wasn’t for me, so I jumped into tech as a data analyst, where I finally got to wear t-shirts to work while crunching numbers and learning consulting tricks from my ex-BCG boss.

But deep down, I always knew I wanted to build something of my own—so, naturally, I did what any ambitious 26-year-old would do: I started a beer brewery with my best friend.

Against all odds (pandemics, bad politics, soaring costs), we built one of Bogotá’s top craft beer brands, opened two bars, and even raised $50K in 10 minutes through crowdfunding—an all-time high of my life.

However... the traditional brick & mortar business wasn't really working for me. Even if the future showed promise, reality was that after 4 years of working my ass off, profits were scarce, debts were piling up and stress was burning me out. I had to make a change for myself to stay sane... so I decided to sell all my shares and quit my hobby (a business that doesn't make money is just a really expensive hobby).

Now, at 32, I’m starting over and building the business of my dreams. I believe my purpose is to teach others about the adventure of business creation and help them avoid all of my mistakes and build something amazing for themselves.

What I'm up to lately

Warren Buffet once famously said "I’m a better investor because I am a businessman, and I’m a better businessman because I am an investor." Honoring those words I now find myself in a nice split where I work on a investment firm by day as Director of Operations, learning Value Investing from the greats (Buffet, Graham, Dodd, Fisher, Klarman) while applying AI and Project Management every day... and then managing my coaching program by night and weekends.
